EXPLANATIONS PAGE

Nit and Mike did fieldwork in a Muslim fishing village in far Southern Thailand from 1995 to 1996, a total of about nine or ten months. The village is called "Hua Khaw Daeng" which means "head of red mountain". I assume that article is now in public domain, so I include a link to it below, and the citation. Offering the article here now could only help sales of the book, and so I assume I cause no harm in offering the article here now.
